She has worked in the legal field for over 25 years and has knowledge in many areas of law, including litigation, probate, social security disability, estate planning and personal injury. She is also currently registered as a Notary Public for the State of Michigan.

Kay enjoys cooking, fishing, kayaking, and travel. She also enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, family and friends.
