Adam Bancroft has been with Willis Law since April of 2020. Prior to working with Willis Law, Adam successfully operated and later owned a law firm in Van Buren County, Michigan for ten years and later worked for a large law firm based out of Detroit, Michigan.
Adam graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While at “Valpo Law”, Adam was a member of the Mock Trial Team as well as a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. He also served as a clerk for State Attorney Richard A. Devine at the Cook County State’s Attorney Office in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to becoming an attorney, Adam earned his B.A. in Political Science and graduated with honors from Western Michigan University.
He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Michigan and the Federal Court for the Western District of Michigan. Adam has a strong commitment to the West Michigan Community which includes serving as the defense representative for a Drug Treatment Court Program. Adam also takes great pride in his efforts towards the planning and implementation of one of Michigan’s first Sobriety Courts. Adam served several years as the president of the Van Buren County Bar Association. Civically, Adam serves the community as a member of the board of Directors for the Van Buren County Habitat for Humanity and the Holland Hockey Association.
Adam’s wife Kim and their son, Jack, reside in Holland, Michigan where they enjoy the many opportunities that are available within their lakeshore community. Prior to their move to Holland, Adam and Kim resided in and around the Kalamazoo community since meeting in 1999, while students at Western Michigan University. The Bancroft Family is actively involved with Immanuel Church. Willis Law dedicates its practice to God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
