Willis Law is pleased to announce the hiring of Adam D. Bancroft as an attorney. Adam is a 2005 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. After graduation, he practiced with Verdonk, Verdonk, and DeStefano. He also owned and operated a solo practice in Van Buren County. Through the past 15 years of Adam’s career, he has had the pleasure of assisting clients with a vast array of legal challenges. Adam’s practice area includes family law, civil litigation, estate and probate litigation, real estate law, and criminal defense. Earlier in his career, he served as the defense representative for treatment courts focused on assisting people to overcome challenges connected with mental health and addictions. Adam is currently an executive board member for Van Buren County Habitat for Humanity and previously served the Van Buren County Bar Association as president for several years.
When not practicing law, Adam and his wife Kim enjoy the many wonderful outdoor activities that are available to residents of West Michigan. Enjoying sunsets at Lake Michigan and taking-in the Fall colors while hunting are some of Adam’s favorite activities. Adam is a proud “hockey dad”, which consumes most of his free time in the winter months. Previously, he sponsored a Kalamazoo Optimists Hockey Association (KOHA) team, “The Bancroft Law Sharks”, and Adam plans to become more involved in his son’s current hockey club.
